       You may have heard of the tragic story of Athena Strand. She was only seven years old when her life was tragically taken away from her. As most would say she didn't give to live at all experience anything for herself. Athena had walked home from school like usual but when she got home it was a little different. Her stepmother and her had a fight over something. They were both upset so Athena walked away from her stepmother. That wasn't usual for kids to walk away from situation they didn't like but then the stepmother processed to start cooking dinner for the small family.            His name was RIchard Cottingham and you're probably asking yourself who he is. He wasn't a well-known serial killer and still isn't like Jeffery Dahmer or Ted Bundy. This man had three characteristics to all of his murders. Richard had his own nickname as a serial killer which was “The Torso Killer”. The torso killer came from how he left his victims. When he was finished with them Richard wouldn't leave anything behind but the victims' torsos. Richard was originally from New Jersey, but his crimes were operating in New York between the years 1967 and 1980. Her husband James was a former college basketball player from the University of Missouri. These two had been married since July 2001. They had two children together, a little girl who was nine years old and a son that was five years old. Seems like a pretty happy family that they had been making together for years. Until the day of November 8, 2022 that’s the day this beautiful family was completely changed and not for the better. James and Beth were both found dead at Dallas Medical Examiner’s office on Tuesday. James Frost is believed to have killed his wife by shooting her then another employee that was there with her before finally killing himself. Although, Beth and James died after he shot both of them.           Sam Little, short for Samuel Little, was an American serial killer.  This man took on the role of killing people for years from 1970 till 2005. The FBI and ViCAP has confirmed Mr.Little’s involvement in at least 60 murders. Although that is a lot of people's lives they know he took Samuel confessed to killing 93 people. They have not put 33 murders completely to his name but he did confess to them. Samuel has the largest number of confirmed killings in the United States. Growing up Samuel had many violations and achievement problems while in high school. He was raised by his grandmother most of the time after moving to Lorain, Ohio. Around August 2018 in Frederick, Colorado a man named Christopher Lee Watts, worked  as an oil field operator. He looked like he was a part of a picture perfect life to the internet. His wife Shannon made videos of their little family doing activities like singing, cooking, anything that made them look like they were having an amazing time together. Chris decided in the early hours of August 13 to murder his wife Shannon who was pregnant, his daughters Bella and Celeste to. He killed his wife and unborn baby boy first by strangulation then, he went to Bella's room. Bella was killed by smothering. In the autopsy report later on it said that she had marks in her mouth showing she tried to fight for her life.          Mr. Charles Standard Severance took three innocent lives. Charles was born on September 25, 1960, in Fairfax, Virginia. He was unfortunately a killer who took lives in Alexandria, Virginia. He was convicted as an American serial killer out of Alexandria, Virginia. Prior to all killings and trials, he was running for Mayor of Alexandria in the 1996 as well as the 2000 election. In 1996 he also ran for the Congress for the eighth district. During the runs of elections, he would answer the questions with different topics of crazy things. In all three of these elections, he lost to other people. He ran as an independent person in all the elections he tried to win. Charles had three victims' lives that he took.                        No one knows anything about Jack the Ripper's true identity, he was a very mysterious man, and no one could put a face to everything he was doing. Journalist gave this mysterious man two names in newspapers which were Whitechapel Murderer and Leather Apron. Jack the Ripper name formally came from a letter which someone had written saying that they were the mysterious killer. Everyone believed the letter to not be written by the real killer. The letter did make the story of the killer go around town more quickly and made people more interested in who the mysterious man was.                  Who is Mary Ann Cotton and where is she from? Mrs. Cotton was born on October 31, 1832 in England. She was married four different times and had thirteen children. She was unlike most serial killers she didn’t beat them with something or strangle them. The way she preferred to kill people was by poisoning them with arsenic. Mary was only convicted of one crime, though everyone believes her to be a serial killer. Many say she killed eleven out of her thirteen children.                     Jeffery Lionel Dahmer was born May 21, 1960 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. His nickname was Milwaukee Monster, he was an American serial killer. He committed murders and dismembered around seventeen boys and men between 1978 and 1991. He had a disorder where he would change personalities and psychotic disorder. Mr.Dahmer committed his murder in 1978, about three weeks after his high school gradution. On June 18, he picked a hitchhiker named Steven who was almost 19. He offered him a drink at his house, that's how he lured him in. Later after they had a couple of drinks Steven was ready to leave but Jeffrey wasn't ready for him to leave.         J ohn Wayne Gacy was an American Serial Killer who tortured or murdered at least thirty-three men and boys. Mr. Gacy was born on March 17, 1942, in Chicago, Illinois. He often visits children's hospitals and charitable events as Patches the Clown. John had become the Killer Clown because of his services as a clown prior to knowledge of his killings. Gacy committed all his murders in one home in Norwood Park Township. The home was a ranch-style house. The victims would get invited to John's home. John Gacy would say he was going to do a magic trick, but they had to wear handcuffs for the trick. He would then torture his captive victim before killing them of either asphyxiation or strangulation with an object.              Who really was  Richard Ramirez?  Well Richard's full name was Ricardo Leyva Munoz Ramierz  a known American Serial Killer around California. He was called many different names for how he killed his victims or where they mostly took place. He was born in El Paso, Texas on February 29, 1960. Mr. Ramirez died in 2013 while waiting to be executed for all of his charges in California. Richard's childhood is the reason must people believe he made his crimes; he didn't have the best childhood growing up.              Theodore Robert Bundy was an American Serial Killer who kidnapped, raped, and murdered numerous young women/girlies. He was born in November 24,1946 and died on January 24, 1989 at the age of 42 years old. Bundy was regarded to be very charismatic and handsome, these traits are what won the trust of all of his victims and society as a whole. His victims were approached by Ted in a public eye. They would love how he looked and acted so they would trust him little did they know, he was going to bludgeoned them into unconsciousness to take them to a secondary place to rape them.
